- Mary died eighteen years after her husband John at the age of eighty -nine on 3 June 1950 in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Esther Wagaman, in Guilford Township, Franklin County, PA. She is buried in the Grindstone Hill Cemetary, Guilford Township, Franklin County, PA. Her obituary read as follows:

MRS. MARY E. FISHER
Mrs. Mary Ellen Baker Fisher, 89, died Saturday at 2:40 p. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Wagaman, of Waynesboro, R. R. 2, after several days' illness.
Born on August 8, 1860 in Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Lavina McClay Baker. Mrs. Fisher was a member of Solomon's Lutheran Church of Grindstone Hill. She was the widow of John W. Fisher, and the last of her family.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Flora M. Jordan, of Norton, Kans.; Mrs. Mary Shank, of Greencastle; Mrs. Harry Wagaman, of Waynesboro R. R. 1; and Mrs. Ruth Garvin, of Waynesboro R. R. 2; two sons, J. W. Herbert Fisher, of R. R. 5; and Harold B. Fisher, of Greencastle, R. R. 2. Twenty-six grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p. m. at the Grindstone Hill Church with the Rev. Robert C. Sanders Officiating. Burial will be made in the Grindstone Hill Cemetary.
Friends may call at the Sellers Funeral Home this evening from 7 to 9 o'clock. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 to 2 p. m. tomorrow.
