The 3 oldest children -John, Hannah and Henry, married and in time moved to the U.S. living in Indiana, Virginia and Michigan. The remaining 11 children remained in Ontario. When Rudolph was no longer able to carry on with the farm, son Noah took over for a number of years. In Rudolph's will, he left an acre of land for his widow on which a story and a half frame house had been erected. The will stipulated that at the expiration of one year after his decease, the executors were to sell either by Public Auction or Private bargain all the remainder of the Conveyance. The Executors agreed by Private Bargain to sell the property, 149 acres, for $10,000.00 to Isaac E. Weber a neighbour.
