WEST, Clifford Glen - Formerly of Kinkora and Milverton, born in the Township of Lindsay, Bruce Pennisula on October 20, 1933, passed away on March 2, 2007, in his 74th year, at Stratford General Hospital of congestive heart failure. Clifford is survived lovingly by his dear mother, Lottie West of Lion's Head; daughters, Dawna Hallman (John) of Petersburg, Connie Miller (Mahlon) of Dundee, Ohio, Paulette West Brenneman (Dwight) of New Hamburg and son, Bruce West (Marlene) of Waterloo. Clifford is also lovingly remembered by his best friend Mary Lou West of New Hamburg and grandchildren, Amie Vickovich (Pieter), Jessica West, Jolene West, Joel Miller, Deanna Miller, Shea Brenneman, Taite Brenneman; brother, James West (Marlene) of Sauble Beach; sisters, Frances Blake (Delbert) of Kitchener, Nellie Tyndall and Gwen Guitard (Gabe), all of Lion's Head. Clifford was predeceased by his son, Glen, in infancy; father, Earl West; son-in-law, Lazar Vickovich; brother, Ernie West, and brother-in-law, Norman Tyndall. Clifford spent many years in Milverton area as a dairy farmer on the 3rd line, and then moved to Kinkora where he spent his retirement time raising and showing his commercial horses. He was known well for winning red ribbons and his love of this sport and entertaining family and friends with sleigh rides back to the log cabin he built. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer St., Milverton on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at 1 p.m., with Pastor Amsey Martin officiating. Spring interment in Eastnor Cemetery, RR 2, Lion's Head. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family. The West family would like to express a special gratitude to the nurses at the Palliative Care Unit of the Stratford General Hospital and Drs. Tomlinson for your care during the time of illness. A special thank-you also to Helen Thompson who spent extra time with Dad during this time.
