Hunsinger, Helen Myers (1901-1993) Helen and her grand daughter, Linda, are standing in the living room of the house that my grandfather, Ralph Berriker, was raised. William and Mary (Strunk) Haws owned this house and my grand father lived with them. At the time of this photo, abt 1963, he owned and lived in the house with his wife and daughter, Lola Mae. I love this photo because it shows the beautiful staircase in the back ground. William Haws is listed as a carpenter in some sources, and I have to wonder if he didn't create the banister and molding. In 1972, this living room was flooded with 32" of water when Hurricane Agnes came through. - Robin Berriker |
