Text | Mr. Robert Reynolds Dies Suddenly Mr. Robert Reynolds, a well known resident of town, was suddenly stricken down with heart failure on Monday at noon, while engaged in his daily duty of delivering milk. He was on Toronto Street North at the time, his nephew, Clifford Leonard assisting him. After serving several customers, just before one o'clock, Clifford returned to the rig and found Mr Reynolds dead. Deceased was born in King Township 67 years ago, removing with his parents to Innisfil five years later. Sixteen years ago he moved to Barrie. Mr. Reynolds was highly respected by all. He was a member of the Salvation Army. A widow (Sarah Jane Redfern), two sons and three daughters survive. The children are Murray, at home; John, of Toronto; Mrs D. G. Cooper, of Toronto; Miss Lulu, Grenfel; Miss Nettie at home. Four brothers, Charles, of Barrie; James and Henry, of Penetang; and Samuel, of Craigvale, also survive. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon, interment taking place at Stroud. The pall bearers were: Messrs. Charles and Samuel Reynolds, Thomas, John and Robert Redfern, and Samuel Elliott. | |
