- William H Anglemyer, 60, a retired farmer, died Saturday evening at 5 o'clock, in his home in Wakarusa, having been seriously ill the past three weeks after failing health for about 3 years.
He was born in Harrison township, December 23, 1885, the son of Levi and Susan (Hartman) Anglemyer and in 1906 he married Emma Huber, who survives him.
Mr Anglemyer, a progressive farmer and highly respected citizen, retired from farming three years ago and he and Mrs Anglemyer moved from their farm in Penn township, near Mishawaka, to their present residence here.
He was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Osceola.
Surviving with the widow are five sons and one daughter, Walter of Wakarusa, Levi and Roy of Elkhart, Elmer of Goshen and George of Mishawaka, and the daughter, Mrs Charles (Leona) McCarty of Elkhart; 13 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Joseph of Elkhart, Perry and Elmer of Goshen, and a sister, Mrs William (Rosa) Fredericks of Elkhart.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, 1:30 pm in the home, and 2 o'clock at the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren, Revs Edward Stump and Earl Nusbaum officiating. Burial in Yellow Creek cemetery.
